Last day in Paris

Today is my last day in Paris. I've already been to Orsay which I was a little dissapointed with. I'll be taking it easy the rest of the day and hoping to go to bed early so I do not miss my flight. I'll see y'all soon.

Musee D'Armee

I was supposed to go to the Musee D'Orsay today but it was way to crowded. I wasn't going to wait in the rain to get in. I walked the extra ten minutes to the Musee D'Armee and it was a great choice. To see the history of the military of France was very informative. I'll save Orsay for tomorrow, my last day in Paris. It is hard to believe a week has gone by so quick. Two quick sidenotes I smoke on average a carton of cigarettes a day and I was asked for directions twice today. The person who gets lost everyday and has no sense of directions is asked. I'll see everybody soon.

Couple quick things

(1) Had my first nutella crepe today it didn't dissapoint.

(2) Finished my second book To Kill a Mockingbird. Two more to go :)

(3) Tomorrow is the Musee D'Orsay

(4) Trying to figure out a way not to miss my flight on Thursday. Suggestions will help :)

Monday

Today was the Pere LeChaise which was amazing. All of that history in one place. I could not believe how big it was. I couldn't tell how many people were buried there but there was a ton. Colette, don't worry I have a picture of your namesake. I do not know how I'll spend the rest of my day.

Only Update for Sunday

Visit The Louvre today. Parts of it were way over rated. Really enjoyed the indegenous art section of non-Europe. Got lost again on my way back to my room. It wasn't that bad because I ended up running into the Eiffel Tower. Didn't go in it or come close to it but I saw it. Now I need to find something to do for Wednesday. I'll probably go shopping. I determined who my roommates were even though we never talk to each other. We sleep in the same room and that is it. One is Spanish and the other two German. I believe the Germans checked out today. We never introduced ourselves to each other. Tomorrow is the Pere LeChaise (Oak 6th graders should know what this is. I recommend you quiz them tomorrow. I'll be reading in the park for the rest of tonight.

Last Update for Saturday

I know that reading in the park for my afternoon but of my two days here it was the best thing I did. I people watched and finished my book (1 of my alleged 4). I plan on a light evening as well. Tomorrow is the Louvre which I think I know how to get there. Also, somebody asked me for directions today. I went from being lost in the city to being asked for directions. However, I had to tell him I was a tourist as well.

Saturday 2 pm

Decided to scale back my schedule after yesterday. Wasn't enjoying what I was seeing because I was in a rush. Already have been to the Centre Pompidou the Museum of Modern Art. All I know is that I could do most of that. You'll know when I show you the pictures. No clue what I'm doing the rest of the day. STill trying to adapt to the new time zone. I'll be their by tomorrow. I'm not going to lie I'm homesick.

Friday

No problems getting here. Made it through customs with no problem. Finally got to watch Slumdog Millionaire. Did not sleep on the flight. Shout out to Mora who got through the flight from Detroit to Amsterdam. Only going to one store today. Already got lost.

Leaving Today and Plans for Friday

I leave Lansing at 6 pm and I'll be making stops in Detroit and Amsterdam before finalling arriving in Paris about 1:30 pm in Paris or 7:30 am EST

I will primarily be shopping. I'm not going to far into the city or seeing any tourist spots. I'll save those for full days.
